Modelux West Malling Station Building
This kit depicts West Malling Station, in Kent. It is the full main building - there is an canopy to the front manin entrance and then a second canopy to the rear, serving platform 1.
The kit is fully coloured, and includes the window detailing and stone detailing. The kit features the new method of brick manination, allowing a virtually seamless corner joint, whilst keeping the wall depth the correct depth for the scale. This isn't a flimsy, thin card model - the walls are made from 1.3mm mylticore board. The windows sit behind the reveals. The chimney pots are PLA 3D printed.
There is a fiddly element in the construction - the builder needs to place small triangular sections of card with tweezers to construct the dormer windows. The rest of the kit is straightforward to build.
Height - 120mm excluding chimneys
Depth - 91mm excluding canopies
Width - 246mm
