History

By the late 1990s, the classic Mini had become a motoring icon, with the Sports-Pack models representing some of the final and best-equipped versions ever produced. Introduced with wider wheel arches, 13-inch alloy wheels, uprated suspension and distinctive styling, the Sports-Pack gave the legendary Mini a more muscular appearance while retaining the agile handling that made it famous. Limited editions such as the Amaranth Purple version added exclusive colours and trim, making them highly desirable among collectors. Today, these final-production Minis are regarded as some of the most sought-after examples of Sir Alec Issigonis’ timeless design.
