Now in its seventh year, the SME News Awards, known for spotlighting businesses that exhibit excellence and innovation in various sectors across the UK, recently announced the winners of the UK Enterprise Awards 2023. Chester Model Centre emerged as the standout choice for the Model Train Store of the Year - Cheshire category, highlighting the store's commitment to providing a top-tier experience to model train enthusiasts, collectors and hobbyists of all kinds.
Paul Boyland, owner of Chester Model Centre, expressed his shock and gratitude upon receiving this unexpected award. He stated, "We are absolutely thrilled to be named the Model Train Store of the Year by SME News UK Enterprise Awards. When we first got the news we weren’t even sure it was real! Once we verified it we were delightfully surprised and honoured to see our shop recognised.
Our customers know we have a passion for model trains and sharing our experience and enthusiasm is all part of the joy of running this shop. This award is really a testament to our team and their friendly approach, making sure everyone knows they are welcome in our shop.”
