Making Tracks this Christmas

Model railway enthusiasts, your next adventure is fast approaching!

Making Tracks is arriving at Cheshire Outdoors this winter, showcasing an extraordinary 800 feet of precision-built track and a world-record-breaking layout created by Pete Waterman and the Railnuts team. Expect breathtaking detail, immersive viewing, and even the chance to step up and drive a train yourself.

Running from 13th December 2025 to 4th January 2026 at Cheshire Outdoors, Blakemere Village, Northwich (CW8 2EB), this is a must-see experience for all ages.

Chester Model Centre will be on site every day throughout the event with a full stall, the perfect opportunity to pick up gifts, discover unique additions for your layout, or treat yourself to something new.

And of course, our “Tardis” of a shop in Chester will be open daily during the event. Spread across two floors, it’s the ideal place to continue your railway inspiration and explore an extensive range of modelling delights.
