Making Tracks 3 is coming to Chester!

Making Tracks 3 is coming to Chester!

After much measuring up, exploring new venues, looking at layouts and having many conversations with 'the powers that be' we are pleased to announce that Making Tracks will return to Chester Cathedral in summer 2023!

"Making Tracks 2 was such good fun this summer. We saw people experience model railways for the first time ever along with lifelong model train enthusiasts making repeat visits (often with kids and grandkids in tow). However, we heard from a few of you who missed it and wanted to know when it would be back. At the time we couldn't answer that question, but now we can." boasted Paul Boyland, Owner Chester Model Centre.

Chester Model Centre is delighted to once again sponsor Making Tracks, an interactive model railway installation, which features scale models of iconic stretches of the UK's railways. It is curated by record producer and songwriter Pete Waterman OBE, alongside The Railnuts modelling group who are busy working on some new additions to layout as the next 10(ish) months will go quickly.

Dates and details will be announced in the new year so be sure to sign up to our newsletter and follow @ChesterModelCentre on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
