Wow!!! After seven weeks, Making Tracks 2 has come to an end. The Railnuts, Pete Waterman, our Chester Model Centre team and Chester Cathedral came together to share this amazing hobby in an interactive and accessible way.
It was hard work (thank you to everyone who built, installed and volunteered - a true labour of love). Records were broken and a lot of money was raised for Chester Cathedral. We were overwhelmed by your comments, conversations and the time you gave us with many people visiting over and over again.
At this point, we WANT to be able to tell you that we got the green light for Making Tracks 3 this Christmas, BUT unfortunately we can't. Last week The Railnuts Modelling Group spent a day at Warrington Rugby Club but sadly the space is too narrow to safely host #MakingTracks 3 this festive season. A number of other venues have been explored but the stars have not quite aligned in time for a Christmas event.
